Cardinals linebacker Gabe Martin ruptured his Achilles during offseason workouts, Mike Jurecki reports.
Limited D.J. Swearinger Jersey Martin, 25, played 45 snaps on special teams and none on defense last season, appearing in three games.
He played in eight games in 2016 before landing on injured reserve with a season-ending knee injury.
Martin originally signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green in 2015. He spent his rookie season on the practice squad.
Even tennis-loving ex-NYC mayor David Dinkins, in an interview with NBC News 鈥?the only other media entity I know to have shined a light on ESPN’s absurd, defamatory, career-ending decision 鈥?called ESPN’s response ridiculous. But it was too late. Adler remains a registered race offender.
Yet, ESPN and the NBA remain eager to embrace vulgar, women-denigrating, N-wording rappers for populist cross-promotion. And the NBA continues to indulge players who now reflexively text and speak the N-word.
John spent part of 2015 on the Colts’ practice squad before the Dolphins signed him to their active roster on November 2 of that season. He played two games with the Dolphins in Avery Williamson Jersey 2015.
He saw action in three games with the Cardinals in 2016.
The Jets and Lions will kick off the Sept. 10 doubleheader at 7:20 p.m. before Gruden’s Raiders follow at 10:20 p.m.
Gruden, who started as a color commentator on MNF in 2009 before calling his last game in January, has made a splash since he returned to the coaching ranks, still not afraid to speak his mind 鈥?whether it’s his disdain for instant replay, the catch rule or analytics. He coached the Raiders and Buccaneers, winning one Super Bowl in Tampa, before becoming a broadcaster.
It has not yet been determined who will be in the booth alongside new play-by-play man Joe Tessitore to replace Gruden and analyze his first game.
ESPN pays the NFL $1.9 billion annually for the primetime package, but former play-by-play man Sean McDonough 鈥?who was at times critical of the league 鈥?admitted last month that they got one of the worst NFL games each week.
